Wright Brothers ANP Series – MATRIX 321001, 321003
At the start of the 20th century, wind, sand, and a dream of flight brought Wilbur and Orville Wright to Kitty Hawk, on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Here, after years of experimentation, they achieved the first successful airplane flight on December 17, 1903. What they did changed the world forever. Celebrating their success and the birth of aviation, contemporary art by Frank McShane renders monuments seen throughout the Wright Brothers National Memorial.
