Mound City Group Magnet

Mound City Group, a unit of Hopewell Culture National Historical Park, is the site of a Hopewell culture ceremonial area that includes 24 mounds surrounded by a low earthen embankment. Built between 200 BC and AD 500, this site has one of the highest concentrations of Hopewell mounds within such a small area.
