Mesa Verde, Spanish for green table, offers a spectacular look into the lives of the Ancestral Pueblo people who made it their home for over 700 years, from A.D. 600 to 1300. Today the national park occupies 81.4 square miles near the Four Corners and protects nearly 5,000 known archeological sites, including 600 cliff dwellings of the Pueblo people.

The artwork of this pin is nicely detailed and the printed name of Mesa Verde is easily read. I would have liked more color contrast in the design however. Well made.
