When the Vietnam Women's Memorial was dedicated on Veterans Day, 1993, it became the first national memorial for women Vietnam veterans. A statue depicting servicewomen assisting a fallen US soldier, it pays tribute to the approximately 11,000 American women who served in uniform in-country during the Vietnam War as well as the more than 250,000 others who served outside the country during that time.
Appearing on this color poster is an image of that statue. Hang it at home or in the office to commemorate the first 10 years of the memorial's task of educating the public about those women who sacrificed and served during that time. Better still, your purchase of this poster supports the Vietnam Women's Memorial.
