On August 21, 2017, America will see its first solar eclipse in 38 years, and part of Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve is within the cone of the eclipse. The ''cone'' means in the darkest shadow of the eclipse, in which you can view the total eclipse. At this park the partial phase of this momentous event starts at 10:13 AM (MDT), and the totality starts at 11:31 AM (MDT). The totality will only last 1m 39s, so make sure you're on time!
Our Craters of the Moon Total Solar Eclipse Travel Mug features a map showing the path of the total eclipse as well as information specific to the park. Use our travel mug as a reminder to go out and see this once-in-a-lifetime event.
