Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, established Sept. 1, 1965 is one of more than 388 sites administered by the National Park Service. This 70,000 acre recreation area straddles 35 miles of the Delaware River and includes some of New Jersey's & Pennsylvania's most picturesque geography.
The park is named for the cleft in the Kittatinny Mountain ridge made by the river over the centuries. This pin presents a view of the Delaware Water Gap looking toward New Jersey from Pennsylvania.
