Ulysses S. Grant Bronze Bust

Item#: 415745

Born in 1822, Ulysses S. Grant fought in the Mexican War and later rose in rank during the Civil War because of his successful leadership in the Union army. So effective was his military skill that President Abraham Lincoln said of him, ''I can't spare this man—he fights.'' After leading the Union to victory in the Civil War, he became president of the United States in 1869 and served two terms in office.

A general like U.S. Grant deserves commemoration, and this bronze bust delivers! Measuring about 6 inches high and including biographical text on the bottom, it makes a stately addition to your home decor, especially in a study, den, or office.
