The Battle of Bunker Hill can perhaps be viewed as the prelude to the Revolutionary War. While the Battles of Lexington and Concord have the distinction of being the first to signal open rebellion of the colonies, The Battle of Bunker hill demonstrated that a rag-tag colonial militia could competently fight against the well-armed British army.
This commemorative magnet shows a view looking up at the 221 foot tall Bunker Hill Monument, with a flying American flag in the foreground, and a beautiful clear blue sky above.
